How is my portrait hand-drawn and coloured?
Your portrait begins with a careful, hand-drawn sketch on the iPad. This digital medium allows for a fluid and precise drawing experience, ensuring every line and curve contributes to capturing the essence of the subject. A significant advantage of using the iPad is the ease in which revisions can be made. This means I can adjust and refine the drawing based on your feedback, ensuring the final piece meets your approval.
Once the drawing is perfected, I move on to the colouring phase. This is where the drawing really comes alive with the vibrant hues and subtle shadows. Every stroke of colour is applied by hand, on the iPad, building up layers to create depth, texture and realism. Whether it is the warmth of the brick work, or the sparkle in an eye, each element is thoughtfully rendered to bring out the beauty and character of your custom piece. The digital format allows for a vast palette of colours and blending options, giving me the freedom to achieve a rich, nuanced finish.

Process
After you have made your purchase, please send me a message (see contact form at the bottom of the page) with your own high quality images and order number.
Once I have completed the line work, it will be emailed to you for approval before colour is added.
The final artwork will be messaged back to you for checking where you can suggest minor changes.
Once you have approved your artwork, it will be printed onto high quality, 100% cotton, heavyweight art paper.
The back of the image will be stamped and signed to show authenticity. It will be backed with card and packaged in an archival-sleeve before being gift wrapped and posted
Finally tracking information will be sent to you.
