• To fulfill your portrait commission: Primarily, we use photographs you provide to create your custom portrait. Your contact and delivery information are used to process your order, communicate with you about its progress and deliver the finished artwork.

• To showcase my work: Your final portrait may be shared to different Social media platforms e.g. Instagram and to this website. The artist (Artysketcher) reserves the right to use commissioned artwork for promotional purposes unless specifically requested otherwise by the client in writing.

• To process payments: Your payment information is used by Squarespace Payments payment processor to complete your transactions (see section 12)

• To Communicate With You: We use your contact details to respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, and send you updates about your order.

• To Improve Our Services: We may use technical data to understand how our website is used, identify areas for improvement, and enhance the user experience.

• For Legal Compliance: We may use your information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

Specifically Regarding Photographs:

• Your original photographs are strictly confidential. We will never share, display, or use the photographs you provide for any purpose other than creating your commissioned portrait without your explicit, separate written consent. 4.Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

• Photographs: Once your commission is complete and delivered, and you have confirmed your satisfaction, we will delete the original digital photographs you provided within 90 days from our active systems. We may retain the email messages containing said photographs for our internal records related to the specific artwork.

• Final Custom Commission: Once your commission has been completed it will be stored on our trusted third party storage system Google Drive for a longer period should a reprint be required.

• Order Information: We will retain order details (excluding full payment information) for a longer period as required for accounting and legal purposes.
